The kaafal berry is native to the Himalayan region – humble, seasonal, and deeply nostalgic for anyone who’s grown up in or around the mountains. It’s a symbol of simplicity, rootedness, and sweet, fleeting joy – all values we hold close in our practice.
Our online shop is a natural extension of the studio — a space where art meets utility. We operate on a print-on-demand model to reduce waste and keep our products intentional. Each item — whether it’s a T-shirt, tote bag, or print — carries a story from the hills, translated through illustration and design. We aim to make art that is mindful, minimal, and meaningful — pieces you can wear, gift, or frame with pride.
Founder and Principal Designer at Kaafal Studio, with a Master’s degree in Visual Communication Design from the prestigious National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
With expertise in visual design and storytelling, he has worked across gaming, branding, marketing, and UI/UX design. Now, through Kaafal Studio, he is focused on using design as a tool for positive social impact in Uttarakhand.
